KUCHING, March 28: Tatau, Pusa and Song improve their Covid-19 zone status as the status of other districts remain unchanged today.
According to State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) chairman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah, Song district eased to orange zone status from red zone status after recording 35 local infection cases in the past 14 days.
“Tatau and Pusa also reverted into green zone status after both districts recorded zero new cases in the previous 14 days,” he said during the daily press conference to give updates on the state’s Covid-19 situation held in the former State Legislative Assembly (DUN) building in Petra Jaya, today.
He added 11 districts still remained as red zones, three as orange zones, and 18 as yellow zones.
As of today, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Serian, Julau, Betong, Meradong, Kuching, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu are the under red zone status, while Song, Bukit Mabong and Sarikei are under orange zone status.
The 18 districts under yellow zone status are Matu, Pakan, Marudi, Subis, Tanjung Manis, Beluru, Tebedu, Bau, Mukah, Selangau, Dalat, Limbang, Telang Usan, Kanowit, Belaga, Lundu, Saratok, and Sebauh.
Eight other districts namely Tatau, Pusa, Asajaya, Lawas, Daro, Simunjan, Lubok Antu, and Kabong remained unchanged as Covid-19 green zones. — DayakDaily
