KUCHING, Apr 4: Firefighters carried out an outdoor perimeter sanitisation operation this morning at two coronavirus epicentres (venues with positive cases) to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The operations were conducted at a condominium block and three dormitories from an institute of higher learning at about 9 am.
According to Sarawak Fire and Rescue (Bomba) department assistant director (operations) Tiong Ling Hii, a separate group of firefighters also carried out outdoor sanitisation at public venues namely St Thomas Cathedral and Pending Seafood Centre at about 10 am, together with Kuching South City Council (MBKS) and Ministry of Health (MoH).
