“Employers are urged to accept the relevant certificate as a valid certificate of asymptomatic and symptomatic Covid-19 patients,” the ministry said in a Facebook post today.

At the same time, employees need to report their Covid-19 status honestly and may lodge a complaint in the event that the employer refuses to accept HSO and RO digital certificates at for further action.

“Virtual monitoring of Covid-19 patients continues by the task force at Covid Assessment Centres (CAC) and health clinics’ fever centres.

“Meanwhile, the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) at the State level will continue to be responsible for monitoring the Covid-19 situation in their respective states,” it added. — DayakDaily
