KUCHING, March 13: Southern Sarawak encompassing Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman and Betong divisions are expected to experience continuous rain until tonight.
According to a Malaysian Meteorological Department’s (MET Malaysia) weather forecast video uploaded on YouTube this morning, the affected areas are listed in yellow warning which indicates signs that rain or thunderstorms are expected to occur for more than six hours in an area.
“Thus, the people who are residing in the affected areas are reminded to be vigilant towards all the warnings issued by MET Malaysia and local authorities especially those who are living in a low-lying areas,” said the weathercaster.
At the same time, rain and thunderstorms were also reported in one or two areas in the central zone of Sarawak this morning. — DayakDaily
