Construction of 16 jetties in Kampung Jemukan in Sadong Jaya completed

KUCHING, Jan 27: Construction of 16 jetties for the use of fishermen in Kampung Jemukan has been completed.

According to a news report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Assistant Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development Aidel Lariwoo said the jetties are among many other projects implemented in the area that will benefit the local fishermen.

During his visit on Wednesday (Jan 26), Aidel, who is also Sadong Jaya assemblyman, expressed his satisfaction on the works done for one of the newly completed jetties.

He also requested to the local community leaders to always be aware and monitor each project to ensure that it is being implemented according to the specifications laid out. — DayakDaily
