KUCHING, Sept 11: It was wrong for Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) Youth Chief Johnical Rayong to accuse Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) of infringing into its territory first when in fact, it was PSB which pinched Sri Aman MP Dato Masir Kujat first into its fold, said a political secretary to the Chief Minister Charles Nissom.
“PSB began it all when ‘You touch one touch all’ comradeship in GPS was tested by pinching PRS (Parti Rakyat Sarawak) Dato Masir Kujat,” said Charles Nissom in a statement issued here today.
He said this in response to Rayong’s statement accusing GPS of encroaching into their territory first by accepting Mambong Assemblyman Datuk Dr Jerip Susil’s into GPS fold in October last year.
“How could, in such a short time PSB leaders forgotten that the agony was equally felt by GPS coalition partners when they pinched PRS Datuk Masir Kujat into PSB.
“Masir was reported to have resigned from PRS on March, 7 2019 citing PSB being a truly multi-racial party that can unite Sarawakians as his main reason to leave. But truly, behind the scenes, that might not be the real intention and cause.
“Wouldn’t it be hard to believe if there was no sort of enticements best known to himself that lured him to join PSB?” asked Charles.
He reiterated that as a result, GPS decided to act on PSB when it stated that “You touch one touch all” after their comradeship was tested and felt across.
“Initially they encroached like termites into smaller room. Then to the bigger living room. Soon they want to go to the bedroom and roof to collapse the whole house. That’s the time GPS has to come with the repellent to rid the termites.
“If this chronology is well understood by PSB leaders, they would have known who started the encroachment first and not barking at the wrong tree. That behind, their further encroachment shall deserve a more repulsive repellent,” added Charles.—DayakDaily
