Clarissa Rinya Setian fairest of them all at Durin Cultural Carnival Kumang 2024

SIBU, April 29: Twenty-year-old Clarissa Rinya Setian was crowned as the Durin Cultural Carnival Kumang 2024 winner last night.

The Iban beauty queen from Rumah Mary, Sungai Bidut brought home a cash prize of RM5,000 along with a trophy, crown, sash, flowers and participation certificate.


The runner-up was Tiffany Tc, 22, of mixed Iban, Chinese and Filipino ethnicity, from Sibu who won RM3,000 together with a trophy, crown, flowers and certificate of participation.

Third place went to Easter Jawai Paul, 27, an Iban beauty from Betong who received RM1,500, a trophy, crown, flowers and participation certificate for her win.

The other seven finalists were Audrey Amara Bachok, 23, from Kuching, Astina Anabella Augustine, 21, (Song), Vanessa Grace Tali, 19, (Kanowit), Floveena Debra Ningkan, 23, ( Betong), Nicolyn Kimberly Raymond, 17, (Sibu), Ranisha Ismail, 21, (Sibu) and Diyamirza Nantai David, 22, (Kanowit).

Prizes were presented by Stephanie Siaw, wife of Sibu Rural District Council (SRDC) chairman Sempurai Petrus Ngelai.
