Bukit Begunan: Four-cornered tussle for Mong in State polls

KUCHING, Dec 6: Bukit Begunan incumbent Datuk Mong Dagang has found himself in one out of 33 four-cornered fights in the State polls.

Representing Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), the six-term assemblyman will face three opponents from PBK, PBDSB and PSB.


Vinton Langang Sangga is the candidate from Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK), while Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDSB) has fielded Entusa Imam New.

Norina Umoi Utot from Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) is the fourth and last contestant.

In the last State Election, Mong won a large majority against Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s (PKR) Jubri Atak with a majority of 4,695 votes. — DayakDaily
