Two women try their luck to win Nangka seat in three-cornered fight

SIBU, Dec 6: When the men failed to dethrone the incumbent for the N.55 Nangka seat in the 11th State Election in 2016, two women came forth to try their luck this time.

The two women, Intanurazean Wan Sapuan Daud from Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) and Olivia Lim Wen Sia from Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) are new faces, while this election is the third for Dr Annuar.

The constituency has about 23,000 voters.


In the last State election, Abdul Raafidin Majidi of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and Tiong Ing Tung of State Reform Party (STAR), with 2,000 and 773 votes respectively, were not able to defeat Dr Annuar Rapaee, who secured 9,617 votes. ― DayakDaily
