Brazen thieves cart away RM25,000 in items, including dining furniture

MIRI, Oct 24: Thieves broke into a house in Taman Jelita on Monday, carting away valuables worth RM25,000, including a dining furniture set.

The incident happened while the house owner was away in Kuala Lumpur.

A police report on the incident was lodged by the house owner’s father.

According to sources, a neighbour next door noticed something was not right upon seeing the house’s gate left ajar that day.

He immediately called up the house owner who later infomed his father to check on the house.

As at press time, police are still investigating the case. — DayakDaily
