MIRI, Oct 24: Thieves broke into a house in Taman Jelita on Monday, carting away valuables worth RM25,000, including a dining furniture set.

The incident happened while the house owner was away in Kuala Lumpur.

A police report on the incident was lodged by the house owner’s father.

According to sources, a neighbour next door noticed something was not right upon seeing the house’s gate left ajar that day.
