KUCHING, Feb 25: The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) is fighting the wild fire at Jalan Kuala Baram, Miri for the third day.
The fire which was started since Feb 22 is still razing through the field.
A few Bomba teams have been dispatched where they took turn to make their best attempt to put out the fire.
According to the Bomba, there are several factors that have caused it hard to put out the fire. These factors include wind flow, road access, low water pressure from the fire hydrant and the sheer expanse of the open area.
Bomba has managed to control the fire in some areas and the efforts are now still ongoing.— DayakDaily
