KUCHING, Oct 15: The remains of Chaong Baringai of Rh Baloi Skrang, who was reported missing after being snatched by a crocodile, were found yesterday (Oct 14).
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, the deceased’s body was found by villagers at 8.40am about 10m from where the victim was last seen.
The body had bite marks on the neck and the right side of the head.
“The deceased’s body was later handed over to the police before being transported to Sri Aman Hospital,” it said.
Yesterday, a search and rescue (SAR) operation was launched after the victim was reported missing following a crocodile attack at Sungai Skrang. — DayakDaily
