KUCHING, Jan 5: The body of the man found in Kampung Selang in Telaga Air was believed to be the result of a wild animal attack.

Sarawak Police Commissioner Dato Mancha Ata said that based on the investigation, there were signs of animal bites on the deceased’s body.

“We have yet to obtain the autopsy result, and there may be no elements of crime. It is believed to be the result of a wild animal attack,” he told reporters when met at Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters today.

On Jan 2, the body of a man was found in Kampung Salang Laut in a bush area and was believed to have died approximately two days prior. — DayakDaily
