KUCHING, March 4: The public is invited to participate in a blood donation campaign and free health screening programme at tHe Spring Shopping Mall on March 9.
Malaysian Red Crescent Stampin Branch chairman of blood and organ donation Wendy Tan said the campaign is organised together with National Kidney Foundation Malaysia in conjunction with the World Kidney Day 2024.
“It will be held from 10am until 2pm. The programme will check on body mass index, waist circumference, urine test, blood glucose, cholesterol, blood sugar and counseling conducted by the National Kidney Foundation Malaysia,” she said in a statement today.
Among others, she added, there will also be a health talk, quiz, healthy snack cooking competition, lucky draw and games.
“Free goody bags will be given to successful blood donors,” she said.
