KUCHING, March 4: A motorcyclist was killed while another was seriously injured in a road accident near Kampung Abang along Jalan Puncak Borneo yesterday (March 3).
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received a call regarding the incident at 8.15pm and deployed a Bomba Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team from Siburan to the location.
Upon arrival, the operation commander reported that the incident involved two motorcycles.
One of the victims shown no vital signs when inspected by EMRS personnel and the other victim, who was riding the other motorcycle, suffered serious head injuries.
The injured victim was later brought to Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment. — DayakDaily
