“For households with an income of RM2,500 to RM5,000, the BKM provided is between RM500 to RM1,250 depending on the number of children,” he said when tabling the Budget 2023 in the Dewan Rakyat today.

On the other hand, senior citizens with no spouse and single people will receive RM600 and RM300, respectively, depending on certain income limits.

He also mentioned that single parents (single fathers or single mothers) would receive BKM worth RM3,000, an increase of RM500 from RM2,500 this year.
