KUCHING, July 10: Bintulu MP Dato Seri Tiong King Sing announced an allocation of RM100,000 to Bintulu Hospital Charitable Fund to assist the less fortunate in seeking treatment at the hospital.
According to Tiong, he was made to understand that Bintulu Hospital is in the process of registering the establishment of the fund.
“I fully support the establishment of this charity fund,” he said in his Facebook post yesterday (July 9).
Meanwhile, Tiong, who is also Dudong assemblyman, called for Bintulu Dental Clinic to extend its services to the interior areas.
He opined that Bintulu Divisional Health Clinic could also make regular services once or twice a month, or maybe three times a month, to get the community’s response upstream.
On another note, Tiong reminded large companies that employ foreign workers to take good care of their employees’ welfare.
“Be more responsible, especially while the employees seek treatment,” he added. — DayakDaily
