SARATOK, Sept 8: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident near Kaki Wong junction early today.
According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak, they received a call about the incident at 3.59am and promptly dispatched a team of firefighters from Saratok Station to the scene.

The operation commander reported that the collision involved a motorcycle and a lorry.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the victim lying unconscious on the back of the lorry. The lorry driver was not present at the scene.
Medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH) attended to the victim and confirmed the death at the location. The body has been handed over to the police for further investigation. — DayakDaily
