KUCHING, Aug 25: Two men were arrested by the police after drugs were found on them at a house located at Kampung Grogo, Bau this afternoon.
The police raided the house at 12.45pm and arrested the suspects at two different locations in the house.
According to Bau District Police Chief, DSP Poge Nyaon, when police searched the first suspect, they found a
transparent packet with 0.32 grammes of a substance believed to be drugs in his trousers.
“A total of 0.62 grammes of a substance which is believed to be drugs was found in a small, transparent packet in the pocket of the second suspect’s trousers,” Poge added.
Both suspects also tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine, and had previous criminal records.
The two suspects were remanded and will be investigated under Section 12(2) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. — DayakDaily
