Batu Kawa clinic administers 500 vaccine doses on a Saturday

KUCHING, June 13: Batu Kawa health clinic has managed to administer 500 doses of Covid-19 vaccines in a day yesterday (June 12).

Batu Kawa assemblyman Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian, in stating this, expressed his gratitude to the doctors, medical staff and volunteers for their hard work despite on a weekend.

“Thank you very much to the medical team led by Dr Laney, taking the advantage of non clinic day weekend to respond to the substantial availability of vaccines arriving in Sarawak this week, and vaccinated 500 people from the local community today.

“Thanks to the volunteers, together we make the operation of the vaccination smoothly and a success. This is the spirit of Sarawak solidarity and united war’s effort,” he said in a social media post last night.
