KUCHING, June 14: Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen has allocated RM100,000 to the Radiotherapy Unit (RTU) of the Radiation and Oncology Services at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) to improve the ward environment for patients.

The funds will also be used to purchase additional digital assets, including computers, to enable doctors to create digital discharge sheets for patients.

This improvement aims to speed up the discharge process and facilitate the easy retrieval of vital information if patients return for further treatment.

Furthermore, Dr Yii mentioned that part of the funds will go towards upgrading the numbering system at the oncology clinic.

With these upgrades, patients can attend their appointments based on a more efficient and simplified numbering system, reducing hassle.

“We hope these enhancements will provide a better environment and streamline processes for both patients and healthcare providers,” Dr Yii said. — DayakDaily
