KUCHING, May 1: Angkatan Zaman Mansang (Azam) Sarawak announced the appointment of Ali Suhaili as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective today.
According to a press statement, he brings with over four decades of distinguished experience in public service, as well as profound expertise and an unwavering commitment to community development.
“Commencing his career in April 1981, Ali’s trajectory has been defined by unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership.
“From his tenure as an external officer to his role as a district and divisional information officer, he has left an indelible mark on the communities he has served,” the statement said.
Ali’s appointment has garnered unanimous approval from Azam’s board members in a recent meeting.
Leveraging his extensive experience and adept networking skills, this strategic move is poised to unleash AZAM’s potential in spearheading modern communication development in Sarawak, aligning seamlessly with the State’s progressive agenda, the statement added.
This appointment signifies the transition from the previous CEO Lelia Sim Ah Hua, whose tenure concluded on April 26, 2024. — DayakDaily
