KUCHING, May 25: Five people were injured in an accident that took place at Jalan FAC, Matang, here today.
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 5.31pm, and firefighters from the Petra Jaya station were deployed.
Upon arrival, it was noted that the accident involved one vehicle and five victims who sustained minor injuries.
“No victims were trapped in the vehicle, and they received prior treatment before being sent to the hospital,” said the report.
It added that no operation was carried out as all the victims managed to get out of the vehicle and are in the safe zone.
After the victims were sent to the hospital, firefighters ensured the situation was safe before returning to the station. — DayakDaily
