KUCHING, Dec 6: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate Datuk Abdullah Saidol will have four contenders coming his way in the fight to defend the N.42 Semop seat in the 12th Sarawak Election.

The 55-year-old will be facing Abdul Raafidin Majidi of Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB), Jenny Wong Khing Ling of Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK), Mohamad Fadillah Sabali of Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah), and Independent candidate Mohd Adenan Zulkeppli.

This is by far the biggest fight for Abdullah as he only had to win against one challenger in the 2016 Election and two challengers in the 2011 Election.

The latest State election in 2016 saw Abdullah win 5,290 votes easily against Mohamad Fadillah, who only secured 878 votes. ― DayakDaily
