KUCHING, April 9: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg was joined by 300 local community leaders (KMKK) for the breaking of fast on Friday (April 8).
According to a news report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the ceremony was held at the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) building in Petra Jaya.
Following that, Abang Johari together with all the Muslims guests performed the ‘tarawih’ prayers.
Also present during were Deputy Chief Minister Dato Sri Prof Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Datuk Amar Mohd Asfia Awang Nassar, Utilities and Telecommunication Minister Datuk Julaihi Narawi and other distinguished guests. — DayakDaily
