KUCHING, Jan 20: A 58-year-old man was found dead near Jalan Kong Phin in 4th Mile here, after reported missing earlier today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak operation centre received a call about the incident at 8.40am, prompting firefighters from Bomba Batu Lintang to be dispatched to the scene.
The search team discovered the victim at 9.30am in a small body of water at the nearby jungle.
Medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed the victim’s death at the location.
Subsequently, the deceased’s body was handed over to the police for further necessary action.– DayakDaily
