The boat ride from Miri Marina jetty to Miri-Sibuti Coral Reefs National Park took about 45 minutes.

The teams consist of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), Department of Fisheries Malaysia (LKIM), Miri City Council (MCC), Miri Resident Office, Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Zone 6, Northern Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA), Borneo Ghost Net Hunters, Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), Reef Check Malaysia, Honorary Wildlife Malaysia, Pantai Bayu Indah Sdn Bhd, Kenyalang Underwater Service Sdn Bhd, Borneo Dive Network, Special Park Committee, and the Malaysian Civil Defence Force.
