MIRI, June 30 : A 32-year-old man was injured while his wife was killed in an accident involving two vehicles at Jalan Kampung Kuala Bakam this afternoon.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre in a report said, the department received a distress call about the incident at 1.49pm today.
The force of the accident, involving a lorry and a car, saw the couple pinned to their seats due to the force of the collision.

“The wife, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical team, while the lorry’s driver aged 58 sustained minor injuries,” said the report.
All injured victims, including the couple’s three children, have been rushed to Miri Hospital for further treatment. — DayakDaily
