KUCHING, Feb 18: Three persons were injured following a single-vehicle accident along Jalan Kuching-Siburan.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre today, they received a call regarding the incident at 5.17am and dispatched firefighters from Bomba Siburan to the location.
The operation commander reported that the incident involved a Perodua Myvi falling into the roadside ditch.
Two of the victims, one male and one female, suffered shoulder and head injuries, respectively, and were helped out of the vehicle by members of the public.
The driver, a male, was still inside the vehicle and was unable to move due to his broken arm.
Firefighters then extracted the driver from the vehicle using a stretcher, and he was given initial medical treatment at the location before being transported to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further action. — DayakDaily
