SIBU, Nov 7: Two women were injured after their car crashed and flipped onto its side near the Sungai Mulong bridge in Jalan Salim Stabau here today.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak, the victims were safely extricated from the vehicle by passersby before the arrival of firefighters.
One of the victim suffered a fracture on her right arm, while the other sustained wounds and was experiencing bleeding.
Paramedics administered initial medical aid at the site to the two victims.
Following a distress call received at 12.13pm, a team from Sibu Central Station was swiftly dispatched to the location.
The firefighters also undertook the necessary road cleanup and ensured the safety of the site before concluding their operation. — DayakDaily
