KUCHING, Nov 12: A 16-year-old teenage boy from Sibu is the only brought-in-dead (BID) case among six Covid-19 fatalities reported today.
According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), the boy who died on Nov 7 needed assistance with activities of daily living (ADL).
The other five mortality cases were registered on Nov 8 (one case), Nov 10 and 11 (two cases each).
The victims were aged between 54 and 93 while all suffered from comorbidities such as hypertension, diabetes and chronic kidney diseases.
In terms of districts, there were two deaths from Kuching, and one each from Sibu, Sri Aman and Mukah.
With six the deaths recorded today, the cumulative number of Covid-19 deaths in Sarawak stands at 1,488. — DayakDaily
