KUCHING, Oct 30: A 59-year-old male from Sibu with cancer history has been reported as a brought-in-dead (BID) case due to Covid-19 on Oct 25.
This is one out of total 10 Covid-19 fatalities recorded by State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in its Covid-19 update today.
The other nine mortalities were registered on Oct 27, 28, and 29, with one, six and two deaths respectively.
Of the nine, Sibu and Kuching took up three each, Kapit accounted for two and Miri one.
The nine victims were aged between 43 and 83 while all had comorbidities, mostly with hypertension, diabetes and obesity.
With that, the cumulative number of Covid-19 deaths in Sarawak stands at 1,319 as of today. — Dayakdaily
