MIRI, Feb 19: A two-metre-long python weighing 100kg was safely removed from a chicken pen of a house in Kampung Lereng Bukit today.
According to a Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) report, the reptile was spotted above the chicken pen by the house owner, a 56-year-old man, this morning at 7.51am who immediately alerted the force.
The man was on his way to feed the chickens, when he made the discovery. All of the man’s chickens were unharmed.
An APM Miri team was mobilised to the scene in response to the distress call.
