KUCHING, Nov 17: tHe Spring Shopping Mall kicked off the festive season by lighting up its iconic three-storey tall Christmas tree at the mall’s premier car park tonight.
People from various walks of life gathered to witness the event, as the Christmas tree, adorned with maroon red baubles, red and white candy canes, and sparkling lights, was officially lit by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian.
The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by carols performed by Kingdom City Choir.
Dr Sim was accompanied by Kuching City South Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng, Managing Director of PE Land James Ling, and tHe Spring General Manager Datin Christine Ling.
The lighting ceremony marked the beginning of the holiday shopping season at the mall, creating a joyful ambiance for shoppers and visitors alike. — DayakDaily
