Youngest GPS candidate Mohamad Shafizan Kepli successfully defends P201 Batang Lupar

KUCHING, Nov 19: The youngest Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate Mohamad Shafizan Kepli has defended P201 Batang Lupar for the coalition in a three-corner fight against in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Mohamad Shafizan secured a 14,463 votes against his opponent from Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) Wel @ Maxwell Rojis (2,768) and Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) Hamdan Sani (5,164).


Mohamad Shafizan, from Pusa in Beting Maro, is succeeding Dato Sri Rohani Abdul Karim, who has served as a three-term MP for Batang Lupar from 2004 to 2022.
