Young motorcyclist killed in Jalan Diplomatik accident

The motorcycle used by the deceased which was damaged during the accident.

KUCHING, July 28: A 21-year-old motorcyclist’s life was taken after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed along Jalan Diplomatik early this morning.

The police were alerted to the incident at 2:09am and deployed a team to the scene.

According to State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, the deceased was traveling towards Semariang before losing control of his motorcycle and falling onto the road.

The deceased was later pronounced dead at the scene by a medical officer. His body was then taken to the Sarawak General Hospital.

Police are investigating this case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
