KUCHING, Feb 13: The World Wide Fund for Nature Malaysia (WWF-Malaysia) Sarawak Conservation Programme is holding a drawing contest in conjunction with the coming Earth Hour 2020 event.
WWF-Malaysia Sarawak in a press statement today, said the contest is opened to anyone aged 15 years old and above who are currently studying or working in Sarawak.
“The objectives of the contest are to reflect the voices and opinions of students or the public toward wildlife conservation through arts, to encourage individual actions to life styles changes that are more environmentally friendly and ecologically responsible.
“And also to engage with students and public on wildlife conservation through arts and social media,” the statement said.
The contest will be held starting from Feb 10 until March 31, 2020, with the theme “Let’s Protect Our Wildlife!”.
Participants will be divided into three-category namely Category A; for 15 to 16 years old (Hand drawn or painted artwork), Category B; for 18 years-old and above (hand drawn or painted artwork) and Category C; 18 years-old and above (Digital artwork).
A maximum of two entries per individual rule will be impose on every participants, whereby joint or group submissions are also not allowed.
