Its minister Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi disclosed this information in the Dewan Rakyat, stating that the expenditure amounted to 99.96 per cent of the total allocation of RM9.553 billion.

Additionally, Nanta presented data up to Feb 15 for the Rolling Plan 4 (RP4) project undertaken by JKR.

He stated that there were 475 new construction projects with a total cost of RM18 billion under RP4.

Furthermore, there were 1,340 remaining connection projects with a cost of RM60.38 billion for physical construction projects, alongside 26 total connection maintenance physical works to be implemented in the current year, amounting to RM45.24 million.

Highlighting project completion statistics, Nanta revealed that in 2023, a total of 182 projects valued at RM4.63 billion were successfully completed.
