KUCHING, Dec 10: Julau MP and Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) president Larry Sng has voiced disappointment that his party does not have even one representation in the Federal Cabinet though it was one of earliest forces to lend support to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
āWords cannot express my disappointment with the Cabinet line-up since PBM, which was one of the earliest to lend support to DSAIās (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) bid to be PM10 (10th prime minister), has no representation in it,ā said Sng in a social media post following the announcement of deputy ministers last night.
Nonetheless, he said, PBM must not allow their vested interest to get in the way of national interest as the country moves forward, they too shall play limited role to strengthen the foundations of todayās government.
That is what Malaysia deserves, he asserted.
āIn the meantime, I will be calling for a meeting with the senior leaders of PBM in the coming days, to work out our direction moving forward.
āPBM will still remain as a national party and it is important that we expand our base.
āI do not rule out the possibility of mergers and coalition building with other political parties, similar to what we had planned prior to GE15,ā Sng added. ā DayakDailyĀ
