Woman injured in two-vehicle collision in Bau

BAU, Nov 19: A woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision at Jalan Jambusan today.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre stated in a report they received a call on the accident at 8.10am and deployed firefighters from the Bau station who arrived at the scene at 8.18am.

“The accident involved a Perodua Axia and a trailer truck.

“The victim, who was driving the Axia, was assisted out of the vehicle by passers-by before Bomba arrived,” said the report.

The victim was given initial medical treatment by the Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) before being sent to Bau Hospital.

The operation ended at 8.26am. — DayakDaily
