BAU, Jan 23: A 21-year-old woman was injured after her vehicle lost control and plunges into a drain at Jalan Singai here today.
State Fire and Rescue operation centre said 12 firefighters from Bau fire station were deployed to the scene after receiving a distress call from its Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) regarding the incident.
“The incident involved a sedan vehicle driven by a women, which was reported to have lost control and skidded into a ditch,” the statement added.
The victim was safely pulled out of the vehicle by the firefighters and given medical treatment by the EMRS personnel before being sent to Bau Hospital. — DayakDaily
