MUKAH, Jan 23: A family of seven was shocked after a landslide rocked their home at Kampung Telian Laut in Sungai Pegai, Mukah, early today.
State Fire and Rescue operation centre, in a statement, said two firefighters from Mukah fire station were sent to the scene after receiving a distress call at 1.53pm.
“The landslide affected one of the main pillar, the bathroom and kitchen area, which resulted in the floor to collapse,” the statement added.
It was understood that the landslide occurred at 6.30am and the department was only informed in the afternoon.
No injuries were reported in the incident. — DayakDaily
