SIBU, June 23: A 34-year old widower was found dead at his home yesterday.
Sibu district police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the police had ruled out any foul play and classified it as sudden death.
He said at about 3.45pm, the man’s seven-year-old had called up his grandmother to fetch him from his home at Jalan Oya Lama.
When she arrived, she found her son unresponsive and tried to revive him with CPR.
“Paramedics from the hospital who arrived at the house, after checking on the man, pronounced him dead,” Stanley said.
The deceased who was jobless had been staying at the premises alone with his son. — DayakDaily
