KUCHING, Aug 19: Flight tickets to exciting destinations like Brisbane (Australia), Paris (France), Chiang Mai (Thailand), and Da Nang (Vietnam) are up for grabs at the second edition of the Sarawak Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Travel Fair to be held at Boulevard Shopping Mall in Kuching from Aug 23-24.
In a press release, the MATTA Sarawak Chapter said that visitors to the fair will have the opportunity to buy a wide variety of value-for-money domestic and international holiday packages from a wide range of experienced licensed tour operators and also Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) tickets through its appointed agents.
“MATTA applauds the government’s initiative to further increase the frequency of flights, which makes it easier for holiday planners to link the globe,” said the press release.
The fair will also feature the Buyers’ Contest, in which the MAG will be giving away exciting flight tickets:
- Two return tickets to Brisbane from Kuching
- Two return tickets to Paris from Kuching
- Two return tickets to Chiang Mai from Kuching
- Two return tickets to Da Nang from Kuching
- Two return tickets to Kuala Lumpur from Kuching
- Two return tickets to Kuala Lumpur from Sibu
In addition, MASwings will also be giving away five return tickets to any MASwings destination, and Scott will be giving away one return ticket to Perth and Singapore.
Also up for grabs will be vouchers from Borneo Happy Farm, Grand Margherita, Hilton Kuching, Hotel Grand Continental, Mega Hotel Miri, Meritin Hotel Kuching, Meritz Hotel Miri, Pullman Kuching, Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing, Sarawak Tourism Board, Sematan Palm Beach Resort, and many more.

Admission to the travel fair, which will be open from 10am-10pm, is free.
