KUCHING, Oct 29: Datuk Willie Mongin assures his commitment to support whoever is selected by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) top leadership to contest in the Puncak Borneo seat.
Willie, who is the incumbent for Puncak Borneo, said if the leadership decided that “Willie, you are not the candidate, and this is our candidate”, he would support it to show his devotion and sincerity as a party man.
“Many people say they are a party man, but they are not willing to sacrifice, and I am very truthful to my word.
“But if I am selected, I hope the rest would do the same to give the same commitment to me,” he told a press conference after officiating at the Pepper Festival 2022 today.
Wille, also caretaker Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, hoped he would be given a chance and continue serving the people.
“I hope they also can see my sincerity to work for the people,” he added. — DayakDaily
