KUCHING, JULY 14: A foreign worker doing welding work on a pipe was buried under a landslide at Jalan Nyabau, Bintulu on Tuesday afternoon.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was contacted at 3pm and a team was deployed to the scene.
According to the statement from State Bomba Operation Centre, the victim was buried under 10 feet of soil and debris.
The 41-year-old deceased was extracted at 4.33pm with an excavator and was pronounced dead by the medical officer at the scene. —DayakDaily
