KUCHING, Sept 20: There will be a scheduled water supply interruption and low water pressure affecting several areas in Matang to Satok, starting from 9pm today until 6am on Thursday (Sept 21).
In an advisory notice today, Kuching Water Board (KWB) announced this interruption is to facilitate the repair of a 280mm HDPE main leak located at Jalan Bunga Kenanga in Kampung Gita here.
Among the areas affected are:
- Along Jalan Pinang Jawa
- Along Jalan Matang from Semarak traffic light to Kubah Ria
- Jalan Bunga Raja
- Jalan Bunga Rampai
- Jalan Bunga Teratai
- Jalan Bunga Kasturi
- Jalan Bunga Ros
- Jalan Bunga Champaka
- Jalan Bunga Kenanga
- Kampung Gita Lama
- Kampung Gita Laut
- Jalan Perupok
- Jalan Inai
- Jalan Bunga Merak
- Jalan Bunga Tongkeng
- Taman Heritage
- Taman Bunga Mawar Jalan Taman Fong Joon
- Surrounding areas
KWB will be mobilising water tankers to mitigate the inconvenience caused by this interruption.
