KUCHING, July 7: Water supply in some areas within Kuching and outside Kuching will be interrupted from 9pm tonight to tomorrow 2am due to maintenance work at Jalan Batu Kitang.
The affected areas include Jalan Landeh, Mile 10, Mile 9 3/4, Jalan Pending, Pending Heights, Jalan Tun Jugah, Jalan Tun Razak, Kenyalang Park, Jalan Batu Lintang, Jalan BDC, Three Hills Park, Jalan Foochow, Jalan Sekama, Jalan Entinggan, Siburan area, and Jalan Puncak Borneo, including areas under Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB).
According to Kuching Water Board (KWB), these areas will experience low water pressure, water supply interruption, or dirty water during the maintenance period.
“KWB will increase the capacity of water distribution by deploying water tankers to all areas affected by water interruption until the water supply within the distribution system is stabilised,” said KWB in a notice.
