KUCHING, June 21: Walk-ins for Covid-19 vaccinations without MySejahtera appointments at the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) vaccination centre (PPV) will not be entertained, including individuals from the industrial sector.

Unimas said some company managers have issued letters of support to their employees who did not receive any appointments or notifications to get vaccinations.

The university said this is unacceptable and urged the public not to do so as the vaccines allocated on a specific day are only meant for those who have appointments set for that day.

Unimas, in a statement today, asserted that the PPV does not accept nor vaccinate any person walking in without appointments as claimed in a viral message recently.

The viral message which has been making the rounds purportedly asked people to standby at the Unimas PPV for Covid-19 vaccinations, which has been verified to be untrue by the PPV management at Unimas. — DayakDaily
