SRI AMAN, March 8: Walk-in vaccination for the first and second doses of the Covid-19 vaccines including the booster dose is now available at Pasar Tamu Sri Aman until tomorrow (March 9) from 8.30am to 2.30pm.
Sri Aman Division Health Office strongly encouraged all individuals to get vaccinated and boosted to protect themselves, their loved ones as well as the larger community against Covid-19.
A notice issued stated that there is no need to make an appointment or call beforehand, as members of the public will be able to just walk-in to Pasar Tamu Sri Aman physically to receive the vaccination.
The vaccination is available for teenagers and adults aged 12 and above who have yet to receive their shots.
Booster doses are also available for adults aged 18 and above who have completed their two-dose Sinovac, Pfizer-BioNTech and AstraZeneca vaccine regime.
According to the CovidNow website, 75.7 per cent of the population of Sarawak eligible for vaccination has completed their two-dose regime as of March 8.
Of that, at least 54 per cent of the fully vaccinated persons have received their booster dose. — DayakDaily
